Those are the three most common words people typically use to describe me. Those who have met and worked with me throughout the years were quick to realize that graphic design and illustration are more than just a job description - they are my life-long passions.
I began my career in graphic design while still in High School doing freelance projects for friends and family. After graduating from Anne Arundel Community College in 2005, I landed a job with a small government contractor and spent nearly a decade as their in-house graphic designer. In order to keep up with the fast-changing world of digital media, and to expand my knowledge in web design and marketing, I returned to school in 2013 to pursue a Bachelor's in Digital Media and Web Technology from the University of Maryland, University College.
Upon graduation in 2015, my husband and I took a giant leap forward and relocated to the Dallas, Texas area in order for him to explore his own passion in aviation. Shortly after our move, I became an in-house graphic designer in the marketing department for an internationally known company on the forefront of rapid cook ovens and induction commercial cooking equipment technology.
