I am graphic designer, illustrator, and a Baltimore native with a passion for everything creative. I discovered my love for art at an early age, and this discovery lead me on a path that eventually became a life-long career.
I began my professional pilgrimage over ten years ago when I became the first in-house graphic designer for a small government contractor located just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. It was there that I spent nearly a decade familiarizing myself with the ever-changing world of graphic design. In 2013, I returned to school to acquire a Bachelor's in Digital Media and Web Technology from the University of Maryland, University College - all while working full-time!
After my graduation in 2015, my husband and I packed up our little family (one cat, one dog!) and relocated to Dallas, Texas so that he could begin his career as an Air Traffic Controller. While in Dallas, I found myself working in the marketing department of multi-million dollar company specializing in commercial cooking equipment. It was with this company, and under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, that I began to really expand my skills in both marketing and modern design.
In June of 2017, my husband and I relocated to the Washington D.C. area so that he could continue his advancement as an Air Traffic Controller. In August of 2017, I became a Contract Senior Graphic Designer for the Office of Public Affairs Creative Services team for the United States Department of Labor (DOL). I am joined by a group of talented individuals who offer a variety of multimedia services to agencies within DOL.
Some of my interests include Japanese animation (anime), comics, video games (Elder Scrolls!), and being outdoors in the sun and by the beach.
